Q: Is there a fee for using Spectrum Personnel to find a job?

A: No, there is no fee to you. The fee for your services is passed on to the companies who request those services.

Q: Who is my employer?

A: Your employer is Spectrum Personnel, except in the case of a direct hire/permanent placement.

Q: How long is the temp to hire period?

A: You must complete 400 hours on Spectrum Personnel's payroll before you can be eligible to be hired on by the company that we send you to.

Q: What kind of jobs do you offer?

A: We offer temporary, temp to hire, and direct hire positions in the clerical, light industrial, and hospitality fields. Examples of positions include: receptionists, administrative assistants, accountants, general laborers, material handlers, welders, dishwashers, servers, and bartenders.

Q: How do I register with Spectrum Personnel?

A: Contact us by filling out the online application, sending us a resume, or by calling our office. We will set you up for an appointment to come in and fill out our complete application and meet with one of our staffing coordinators for an interview. Once that process is completed you are eligible for the many jobs we have to offer!

Q: What do I need to bring when I come in for my interview?

A: Bring two forms of ID. You will need a state issued photo ID and one of the following: original birth certificate, social security card, passport, or voter registration card. We also highly recommend that you bring a resume, as many of the companies we work with request to see one.

Q: What tests may I be required to take?

A: You will be required to take a risk management test to ensure that you understand safety procedures and policies. If you are seeking clerical work, we will test your skills with programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel. If you are seeking light industrial work, you will be asked to take a math test. Lastly, some of our positions require that you pass a 5 panel drug screen and may also require that you allow us to conduct a criminal background check.
